Straight answers before you start.
Pricing, timing, ownership, care, and fit, grouped around the decisions you are probably trying to make before you reach out.
Cost, fit, and what you are paying for.
What does a website cost?
Builds come four ways, priced by how much site you need: Starter is typically $800 for one focused page, Complete is typically $1,600 for up to six pages, Signature starts around $2,400 for larger custom sites, and Advanced is quoted to scope for ordering, donations, member areas, or other custom functionality.
Every build includes domain and DNS coordination, a working contact form, email pointed correctly, mobile-first testing, basic search setup, and a clear export path if you ever need to host the site elsewhere. Full details are on the pricing page.
Why do you publish starting prices when most designers make me ask?
Because you should not need a sales call just to decide whether the conversation is worth having. The published numbers are normal starting points. If a project has unusual content, access issues, integrations, or scope, I tell you before anything starts.
Who do you build websites for?
Churches and sole proprietors, mostly in Indiana and around Louisville. Most of my work is church websites and sites for people who run their own business, such as a home bakery or a dog breeder.
What is included, what is extra, and how long it usually takes.
What counts as a revision round?
A revision round is one consolidated pass during a build: you review the design and send your changes together. I make them, then show you the result. Starter includes one round; Complete and Signature include two.
A new page, new functionality, or bulk work outside the written scope is its own project. I flag that before I start and quote it separately.
What is not included in a build?
Writing all content from scratch, professional photography, a new logo or full brand identity, paid advertising, ongoing SEO campaigns, and third-party subscriptions are quoted separately.
That does not mean they are off the table. It just means the build price does not hide them. I do shape, structure, and proof the words and photos you send, and third-party costs always pass through at cost.
How long will my website take?
A one-page Starter can be ready as soon as 1 week when content, approvals, access, and third-party pieces are ready. Complete usually runs two to three weeks. Signature commonly takes two to four. The final launch window depends on content, approvals, access to accounts, and any third-party pieces.
What happens once the site is live.
What happens after the site launches?
The site and your domain are yours, and anything I built that breaks, I fix free. If you want me to look after it, I offer hosting, domain and DNS management, updates, backups, and Google Business Profile care, priced to your site once we talk through what it needs.
Do you handle my Google Business Profile?
Yes. Setup is part of the build when local search is in scope, and I can keep the profile looked after month to month as part of your care.
Setup can include categories and services, hours and contact details, real photos, duplicate listings if they exist, and consistency with the website. I do not guarantee rankings, buy reviews, or write fake reviews.
What does your guarantee cover?
Anything I built that breaks gets fixed free, nothing launches without real-device testing, scope and expected pricing are written down before work starts, the site stays portable, and third-party costs pass through at cost. Read the whole thing on the guarantee page.
What stays yours, and whether this is the right move.
Who owns the website when it is done?
You do. Your domain, DNS, and content stay clearly yours, and I can export the site files whenever you want to host the site somewhere else.
Can I move the site somewhere else later?
Yes. I export the site code and hand over the domain, DNS, files, and anything registered to you, so you can host it wherever you like.
Do I actually need a new website?
Not always. If your current site is accurate, loads quickly, and works properly on a phone, you may not need me yet, and I will tell you so.
If you are not sure, send me your web address. I will look it over and reply with what is working, what is not, and whether anything is worth fixing.
Send me the messy version.
If your question does not fit neatly into one of these boxes, send it anyway. You will get a plain answer from me directly, usually within a business day.
