Local search, set up honestly.
Google and AI assistants need the same thing people do: accurate information, clear services, real photos, and a site that backs up what your profile says.
Your profile, set up properly when it is in scope.
Google Business Profile setup is available when local search is part of the build, or added later. That keeps Starter focused and affordable, while still making this work easy to add when it matters.
Claimed and verified
If you have no profile, I create and verify one. If a listing already exists, or several do, I get you control of the right one and sort out the duplicates.
Categories and services written properly
Your primary category does more for local ranking than almost anything else, and the wrong one quietly costs you. Services, attributes, and your description get written out in full.
Hours, service area, and contact matched to the site
Google compares your profile against your website. When the name, phone, and hours disagree, it trusts you less. These get set identically, and for a home-based business the service area is shown instead of your address.
Photos that are actually yours
Your real photos, sized and uploaded correctly, rather than a blank profile or a Street View shot of the building.
Structured data on the site itself
The site carries machine-readable detail about who you are, where you work, and what you offer, so Google and AI assistants describe you accurately instead of guessing.
The search fundamentals
Real page titles and descriptions, a sitemap, clean headings, and fast load times on phones. Not an add-on, just how the site gets built.
Kept current, and reported on plainly.
A profile set up once and then left alone goes stale: hours drift, reviews sit unanswered, Google applies "suggested edits" from strangers. If you want, I keep it looked after month to month as part of your care.
Kept accurate as things change
Holiday hours, a new service, a new phone number, a seasonal closure. Tell me once and it changes on the site and the profile together.
Suggested edits watched
Anyone can suggest a change to your listing, and Google sometimes accepts it. I watch for that and put it back.
Review replies drafted
An unanswered review reads worse than a critical one answered well. I draft replies for you to approve, or post them for you if you would rather. Getting the reviews is still your part, and it has to be, which is explained below.
A monthly note with the numbers that matter
Not a dashboard you will never log into. A short plain note: how many people found you, how many called or asked for directions, which pages they read, and whether anything is worth doing about it.
How it is priced
Setup is quoted into the build when local search is part of the scope. Ongoing management and the monthly note are priced with the rest of your care, once we talk through what your profile needs.
What this is not.
Local search attracts more nonsense than any other corner of this work. Here is what I will not do, including the parts you might wish I would.
Honest expectations
A correctly set-up profile usually starts showing results in weeks, not days, and a brand-new business takes longer than an established one. If you already rank well and your profile is in good shape, I will tell you that instead of selling you something.
Want to know where you stand?
Send me your business name and web address. I'll look at your site and your profile and tell you plainly what's working and what I'd fix first. Free, and no obligation.
